The Paul B. Beeson Career Development Awards in Aging Research Program is managed by The National Institute on Aging and the American Federation for Aging Research (AFAR) (www.afar.org).
We are pleased to announce that the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and the National Institute on Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) have joined the Beeson partnership. Additional support will be available for junior investigators whose research is of particular interest to the NIMH and NINDS.
Deadline for letter of intent is October 9, 2010 (not required); application receipt date is November 9, 2010. Please note that there are separate RFAs for the K08 and K23 career tracks.
